From Law of One to Disclosure Media: Remembering David Wilcock with Compassion

Love, Light, and Loss: A Memorial Reflection for David Wilcock and the Law of One Community

Opening vignette

On April 20, 2026, David Wilcock died near Nederland, Colorado, at age 53. Public reports and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office state that his death followed a mental health crisis and was ruled a suicide. His family has asked the public to remember him with compassion, acknowledging both the controversy around parts of his work and the sincerity of his lifelong search for truth, service, and meaning.

For many in the UFO, metaphysical, disclosure, consciousness, and Law of One communities, David was not merely a YouTube personality or Ancient Aliens commentator. He was part of a much older current: the Love and Light community, the Law of One lineage, and the post–Harmonic Convergence awakening wave that carried so many seekers from the late 20th century into the digital age.

Section 1 — The community before the internet made it visible

Before livestreams, comment sections, TikTok theories, and online disclosure media, there were meditation circles, cassette tapes, small presses, newsletters, conferences, radio shows, metaphysical bookstores, and living-room conversations.

The Law of One material came through L/L Research, associated with Don Elkins, Carla L. Rueckert, and Jim McCarty. Don Elkins’ death in 1984 ended the Ra contact, according to L/L Research’s own history.

Carla and Jim continued the work, preserving the material and the tone of service-to-others spirituality that shaped a generation of seekers. Jim McCarty later wrote openly that Don’s death by his own hand was often difficult for the Law of One community to discuss, but that honoring Don meant acknowledging the whole story, including mental illness, grief, devotion, and spiritual pressure.

Section 2 — David Wilcock’s bridge role

David Wilcock helped carry Law of One, ancient civilizations, synchronicity, disclosure, consciousness science, and speculative cosmology into mass online media. He reached people who may never have found the old books, tapes, or meditation groups.

His public work inspired many and frustrated many. That is the honest record. Some saw him as a bridge-builder. Some saw him as controversial. Some saw him as too speculative. But his influence on the disclosure-era internet cannot be denied.

His family’s statement said it best: more than one truth can be held at once — some of his work raised concerns about misinformation, and he was also a human being on an intense quest for clarity.

Section 3 — Don Elkins and David Wilcock: a painful parallel

This is not a conspiracy claim. This is a memorial reflection.

Both Don Elkins and David Wilcock became associated with cosmic inquiry, channeling-adjacent communities, spiritual science, and the weight of metaphysical interpretation. Both became important to people searching for a larger story of human origin, spiritual evolution, and contact beyond ordinary materialism. Both died by suicide.

Don’s story belongs first to L/L Research, Carla, Jim, and those who knew him. David’s story belongs first to his family, friends, and immediate community. We should not turn either man’s death into spectacle.

The correct response is not gossip. The correct response is grief, humility, discernment, and care for the living.

Section 4 — The Love and Light community we shared

Many of us came through the Harmonic Convergence era, the UFO conferences, the metaphysical bookstores, the radio shows, the contactee circles, the Ascension language, the ancient mystery debates, and the early internet explosion.

We did not all agree. We still do not all agree.

But we shared a field of inquiry:

What is consciousness?
Are we alone?
Is humanity older, deeper, and more spiritually connected than the official story allows?
Can love, light, service, and wisdom become practical principles for living?

That is the better memorial: not idol worship, not cancellation, not argument — but renewed responsibility.

Section 5 — Personal reflection from TJ Morris / ET Talk TV

As part of the long-running ET Talk TV, ACO Association, UAP Associates, UFO Association, and Love & Light community, I remember David Wilcock as one voice in a much larger field of seekers.

David was 21 years younger than me, yet became widely known through video, books, and online media in ways many earlier community builders never did. That matters. He became part of the public-facing bridge between older metaphysical communities and modern digital disclosure culture.

Today, we honor him not by making claims we cannot prove, but by holding the human being in compassion.

We also remember Don Elkins and Carla Rueckert McCarty, because the Law of One current shaped much of what came after. Their work gave language to service, unity, distortion, seeking, and love/light. Whether one accepts the material literally, symbolically, spiritually, or historically, its impact on the community is real.

Call to action

If David Wilcock, Don Elkins, Carla Rueckert McCarty, the Law of One, Harmonic Convergence, UFO research, or the Love and Light community affected your life, share your memory respectfully.

Not for argument.
Not for spectacle.
For remembrance.

Let this be a moment when the community practices what it has preached for decades: compassion, discernment, service, and love.

Mental health note

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States and Canada for immediate support. Public spiritual work, media attention, financial stress, grief, depression, and isolation can become dangerous when carried alone.

No seeker should have to disappear in silence.
